Lesson terms and cancellation
The practical rules for lessons with Sherine, in plain English.
Booking
Requests sent through this website are not bookings. A lesson is booked when Sherine confirms the time with you on WhatsApp or by email. There is no online payment on this website.
Learners under 18 are registered by a parent or guardian.
Prices
- Level test: Free. A short video call to find your level and talk about your goals.
- Trial lesson: Free. A full lesson before you commit to anything.
- Private lesson - adult: $30 per hour. One-to-one, at times you choose. Every 11th hour is free.
- Private lesson - child (10–17): $25 per hour. One-to-one, adapted to young learners.
- Private lesson - child (under 10): $20 per 30 minutes. One-to-one 30-minute lessons, adapted to young children.
- Group class - adults: $15 per hour per student. 3 to 4 students at the same level, fixed days and times.
- Group class - children (10–17): $15 per hour per child. 3 to 4 children at the same level, fixed days and times.
- Lebanese cooking class (add-on): On request. Online, for groups, schools and companies.
For private lessons, every 11th hour is free: after ten paid hours, the next hour costs nothing.
A group opens with 3 to 4 students.
Payment
International money transfer apps (Western Union, TapTap Send, Sendwave…). Sherine sends the details after your trial lesson.
Cancelling and moving lessons
Cancel or move a lesson with at least 24 hours' notice and nothing is charged. Later cancellations are charged in full.
For group classes, a missed session cannot be moved, because the group continues. Sherine shares the materials so you can catch up.
Course materials
Course materials are included in the lessons for your personal use. Please do not share or resell them.
